Mobile HIV Testing Outreach in Delhi

On March 25 I accompanied our India Prevention Programs Coordinator, Dilshad Mohd, into the field for a community testing outreach.

I was  pleased to hear that the team had already done 50 people by the time we had arrived in late morning. There was a line at the mobile testing van which clearly showed the need for the free and easy testing services in this particular slum area in Delhi.

I was heartened to see two young girls coming out of the testing van holding Love Condoms — that made my day! AHF India Cares’ streamlined testing model allows each client to get tested quickly with 10 minutes — this works very well in these field situations.

  4. Oh I missed the HIV Testing Day. That was yesterday. Didn’t read this news. Bad thing is my firm didn’t support me to diagnosis.
