Ethiopia – April 2011

Addis Ababa, EthiopiaWe first stopped briefly in Ethiopia to collaborate with our partners, Worldwide Orphans Foundation. The clinic and testing program teams are dedicated and professional – very impressive. The joy for us was stopping by the WWO academy (school) which serves hundreds of orphans and vulnerable children, many of whom live with HIV and receive free treatment at our WWO-AHF Family Healthcare Center.  The kids were receiving a new shoe donation that day and were so thrilled. The WWO-AHF Family Healthcare Center treats about 2,000 active clients and we will be scaling up to treat 3,000 through expanded testing efforts and innovative outreach and marketing. Thank you to Dr. Sophie and team!

We are on to Uganda now …
